Tico's art is diplayed for the fan club of Bon Jovi at the Pepsi Center
Denver, Colorado:
Walnut Street Gallery took part in the Bon Jovi VIP event at the Pepsi Center
on Monday March 9, 2010. We helped add to the ambiance of the room by displaying
Tico Torres’ limited edition prints to the fan club members and VIPs that
attended this special pre-concert dinner and cocktail reception. We were able
to see first hand how incredible Mike Savas was at hosting this event and
treating the guests to a fun filled evening. His true talent lies in taking
care of the Fans and cranking up the excitement before the concert!

Painting since the age of 5 Tico discovered a passion for
music at 11. The music consumed his life for many years. Then in the 90”s Tico returned
to art and immersed himself in painting. During one of the bands extensive
world tours he sought out artists around the world that he admired and studied
their works. From those travels and encounters Tico possessed the inspiration
to experiment with many different styles and techniques. The result was an
incredible body of work.

Walnut Street Gallery had nine limited edition prints of
Tico’s art on display at the VIP party. Many of the guests were pleasantly
surprised to learn that Tico was a visual artist as well as a great drummer.
While sipping cocktails they were able to enjoy his colorful abstracts,
seductive nudes and whimsical images.

Tico sums up his creative process perfectly – “Being able to
go inside yourself, on your own and pull something creative out …. It fulfills
me.”
