On March 29, 2008, Tico Torres was the guest of honor at an
exhibit featuring his original works of art, ceramics and limited edition
prints. Over 300 people attended the private event on Saturday evening and the
public reception the following day. Enjoy the photographs of Tico and our collectors!
Throughout the Eighties and Nineties, Torres provided the
solid backbeat for Bon Jovi. He was often found sketching while on tour, be it
in the hotel room or on the band bus or plane. In 1993, he visited an art shop,
purchased paint and supplies and threw himself into what would become a second
career. Again, with no formal training, Torres proved to be a natural talent.
Rich in color and texture, Torres' figurative and ambiguous pieces had only
been seen by close friends and family (he often gave them out as gifts) before
he finally agreed to have a public show. His first show was in New York City and where he received much critical
acclaim.
The one man show was a tremendous success and Tico enjoyed
meeting with all of the clients, friends and collectors!
